Mary Angela has spent over 30 years in healthcare leadership, including as director of Food & Nutrition Services and then as a Hospital Administrator at Ohio State University (OSU) Wexner Medical Center. She has served as Clinical Nutrition Service Coordinator for Cleveland Clinic and as Wellness Program Director for a large medical practice. Since retiring from OSUWMC, she teaches management courses in OSUs College of Health & Human Rehabilitation Science.

She earned her BS degree from Youngstown State University, her MS at CWRU and an executive certificate in Healthcare Management from OSU.
Mary is an industry advocate. Shes past president of the National Association of Healthcare Foodservice Management, Ohio Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics and Columbus Chapter as well. She is a delegate to the Academy for the Management in Food & Nutrition Systems DPG. She has been honored with International Food Manufacturers Silver Plate and serves on their Education Foundations scholarship board. She is an international ambassador for the Mediterranean Diet Roundtable and has spoken on behalf of healthcare foodservice in Rome, Italy and to embassy diplomats in Washington DC.

Mary is a small business entrepreneur. As the Food Safety Dietitian and owner of KeepSafe Food, LLC. she serves as restaurant consultant and offers products for consumers personal food safety. She loves food and travel adventures. She knows firsthand that good food is safe food that tastes good and is good for you.
