Renae Brown serves as the Chief Dietitian for the Georgia Division of Aging Services. In this role, she leads a state-level planning team to implement Older Americans Act nutrition programs, which provide a trifecta of nutritious meals, socialization, and education to older adults and individuals living with disabilities.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Renae began her career as a sustainable farmer and entered geriatric care as a dietitian for the Memphis Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In her current role in public policy, her primary goal is to reduce malnutrition in older adults by creating socioeconomic frameworks that treat and prevent it.
