Jeanie Subach, EdD, RD, CSSD, LDN

Jeanie Subach is a Registered Dietitian, Board Certified Sports Specialist in Dietetics, and faculty member in the department of Nutrition at West Chester University. In this position she is the advisor to the Student Dietetic Association, and program director to Rams Chef, a culinary program for young adults with disabilities. She earned a B.S in Home Economics, and a Masters in Nutrition Education from Immaculata University. Jeanie is completed her doctoral studies in Educational Leadership and Management at Capella University. Her dissertation on the impact of nutrition intervention on young adults with cognitive and/or physical disabilities was completed with the Adapted Physical Activity program at the University. Jeanie has continued the action research cycle of her dissertation over the last seven creating numerous programs and opportunities for young adults with developmental disabilties. Jeanie resigned from her 31 year tenure as the sports dietitian for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2020 to devote her time and energy to the Ram Chefs program which has expaned from weekly cooking sessions to a Ram Chef owned community garden, and cooking independance camp with a community service component. The Ram Chef program has been featured on local 6ABC and Fox29 news as well as MSN.com and Yahoo.com.
