Crafting Compelling Communication in a Complex World
Communication underlies the success of any nutrition practice and requires the application of social and behavioral science in order to be effective. This session aims to demonstrate how four practitioners in diverse areas of nutrition practice have integrated their knowledge of specific channels of communication with their specific areas of nutrition practice. This session focuses on four channels of communication: written communication, oral communication, visual communication and social media and how they are utilized in order to effectively impact their intended audiences.

- Apply a framework based in neuroscience to craft communication messages that build trust, empathy, and collaboration.
- Create a social media strategy utilizing multicultural and diverse instructions that empowers an audience to make decisions and change behaviors.
